The Byrds-”The Times They Are A Changin’-10/4/65

WONDERFUL vid from the band’s second and final appearance on “Hulla….” This is a pre-recorded backing track with live vocals. Unfortunately Gene & David’s mics are mixed low, so we don’t quite get the full “Byrds Splendor” as far as the harmonies go. Listen to how the tape slows down during Crosby’s close-up. Busted!! :-) This and the Sullivan shows are the only colour footage that I know of from the “Original 5″. Michael Landon being the host on this October evening, he was riding high on “Bonanza” at the time. Join us at The Byrds Yahoo! group: launch.groups.yahoo.com
