Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad) – Paranoid
It’s been awhile since I asked about Grand Funk Railroad – Do you have any favorite songs by them?
They were similar to Led Zeppelin in the fact that the critics absolutely hated them even though they sold out stadiums wherever they went. They also were Blues Based Bands but that is where the similarities ended. Led Zeppelin had much more talent but still Grand Funk did have their day.
Do you think Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad is an underrated guitarist?
I kind of think he’s underrated as a guitarist, I wouldn’t call him one of the greatest guitarists of all time but he’s definetly really good and I don’t see him getting much credit. Just want to see what others think.
What does Grand Funk Railroad mean?
Yes I know it is a band, but does the name have any specific meaning. Can you please explain meaning and symbol of the name if there is any of these.

Grand Funk Railroad – LONELINESS ((Stereo))
LONELINESS Loneliness cries deep from my soul, Keeps trying to tell me about the world growing so cold. Too many people trying to take from my Earth, But we can’t live without controlling our birth. Deep inside a voice cries out for you, It’s not alone ’cause, people, I been cryin’ too. If we don’t stop what we all see is wrong, I guarantee you mankind won’t live long. CHORUS There’s a land, a glorius land, It’s right here on Earth. Understand what you can from the land, Your life is it’s worth. Woah-oh, woah-oh, woah-oh-oh. Woah-oh, woah-oh, woah-oh-oh. Is there an instrumental song by Grand Funk Railroad? If so, what is it called?
My mum was reminiscing upon a song she used to listen to as a teenager by a band called “Grand Funk Railroad.” She said it was completely instrumental, and no lyrics were recorded upon the track. The name for a song she gave me was “The Railroad.” However, as I searched for the song, I found that is has lyrics attached to it. Is it possible that there is an instrumental version of the song? Or is there another that is named something differently, and she simply gave me the incorrect title?
Thank you ahead of time. Points go to whoever can give me a link to the vid/song, or any useful information on the band/song in question.
Also, sorry if this is in the incorrect category, I do not know the brand of music that this band is.
