I was at a party recently and the question was asked who is the greatest singer of all time ? Overwhelmingly almost everyone of the 90 or so people who were there said Dolly Parton. I knew she was regarded as being up there but i was surprised so many people in one room thought this. I know in America she is still thought of as country music royalty but in Australia i thought her popularity was nowhere near what it once was. I was very surprised she is still as popular as ever here.
