For The Hatians (5 stars)
You have to love Copa to really understand this album. Wyclef mixes Copa with hip-hop to make a great album. Copa has much work ahead if it wants to be the new reagee! On some songs, Wyclef isn't afraid to switch from english to creole. "Lavi New York," "Hatian Mafia" "Fistibal," and "24 E Tan Pou viv" are great songs to donload.

georgeous (5 stars)
Always fresh, always unique "Welcome to Haiti" is a perfect example of a work created by a true artist who is always a few steps ahead of the game This album has everything; calm, sweet inspring songs such as "President" as well as Crazy adrenaline pumpers such as "Lavi New York" this album's got it all...the result? an icredibly eclectic original showcase of what real music is all about Do yourself a favor

HaitI!! (5 stars)
Being part haitian myself, this album means a lot to me. Putting aside the awesome beats and kreyol lyrics with a mix of caribbean (haitian) and hip hop, this album has something to offer that most albums don't now-a-days: meaning, soul, rythem, you name it! I absolutely looove his songs! Even all my friends ( who aren't african) like most of his songs. If you have appreciation for good music, then you'll love Wyclef!

Lead Fugees rapper and sometime guitarist Wyclef Jean was the first member of his group to embark on a solo career, and he proved even more ambitious and eclectic on his own. As the Fugees hung in limbo, Wyclef also became hip-hop's unofficial multicultural conscience; a seemingly omnipresent activist, he assembled or participated in numerous high-profile charity benefit shows for a variety of causes, including aid for his native Haiti. The utopian one-world sensibility that fueled Wyclef's political...
