the reviewer is on crack ... this album is so fresh sounding and it almost gives one the feeling Blondie was on a small vacation and jumped right back in the studio before any one could even miss them. My first listen of this album, believe or not,was when it was a cassette and I popped it in my car stereo one day cause I'd grown tired of the rest of my collection. My late husband was an accomplished lead guitarist and I always loved to hear his opinion of the music I listened to, he loved the LP too. And he was very talented, but my taste is pretty various. Blondie was the most commercially successful band to emerge from the much-vaunted punk/new wave movement of the late '70s. The group was formed in New York City in August 1974 by singer Deborah Harry (b. July 1, 1945, Miami, Florida), formerly of Wind in the Willows, and guitarist Chris Stein (b.
