Great Songs and Early Digital Recording (5 stars)
On this album Stevie is writing just as great as he did ten years before and in some cases better. Some people are turned off by Stevie's use of synthesizers and sequencers in the 1980s, but Stevie was being Stevie just as much as he was in 1972 with acoustic instruments and moogs. Take it for what it's worth... (4 stars)
I personally enjoy this release immensly. I was 4 when this Lp was released and I remember my parents killing the "Part-Time Lover" 45 in repeat plays(LP single, for those too young to know what a 45 is). The Lp became a staple in our summer time music...even today. It's a great Lp to be active and out in the streets. It's a feel good type lp. And what's meant by take it for what it's worth means that this was released in 1985, 2
